Onyx Holdings Ltd launches DIY Phones
Onyx have just announced the launch of a new group company, DIY Phones Ltd. DIY Phones will supply, install and maintain the telephones systems for businesses using the latest VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) technology. These systems operate over the exisiting computer network and provide all the features of a conventional PABX system but have two major advantages over such systems.
Firstly, they are simply plugged into the existing computer network and do not require any special cabling of their own. This means the cost, mess and disruption caused by re-wiring are all avoided.
Secondly, if a business has two or more offices, each with a VOIP system installed, calls between the offices will be free. Home and remote workers can use a VOIP phone, plugged into their broadband unit, to call the office free.
