Tech-Rep expands its portfolio with three new companies to represent

Tech-Rep UK Ltd (www.tech-rep.co.uk), the specialist sales and marketing representative for technical companies, has announced three new relationships enabling them to offer their UK customers an even greater range of products and services.

Tech-Rep, who are part of the Onyx Holdings Ltd group of companies, have been providing expert sales and marketing services to electronic component manufacturers, as well as the other companies within the Onyx Group, for over 35 years and during that time have built up a wealth of knowledge and experience.

In April 2007 Tech-Rep began a new relationship with Advanced Energy Technology Inc., a GrafTech International company (www.graftechaet.com) a global company with more than 100 years of experience in the carbon and graphite industry. Tech-Rep is now an authorised representative for the UK sales of AET’s eGRAF® products, which offer a unique alternative to traditional thermal management solutions. eGRAF® technology enables the development of innovative designs that improve performance and increase reliability, all within a limited space and weight.

May 2007, saw the start of a new alliance with Measurement Specialties Inc (www.meas-spec.com), a global designer and manufacturer of OEM focused sensor and pressure transmitter solutions with over 25 years experience. Tech-Rep has been working with Betatherm Sensors, who are now part of Measurement Specialties, for over a year and this relationship has now been expanded to cover the rest of their product ranges. This includes a wide range of temperature sensors, NTC thermistors and temperature probe assemblies, high quality pressure sensors, transmitter components and transducers and low cost, high performance load cells for compression and tension force sensing, accelerometers and vibration and position sensors.

On July 1st, Tech-Rep entered an agreement with the Advanced Packaging group of Zarlink Semiconductor (www.zarlink.com), a global company established for over 30 years. Tech-Rep are now responsible for generating UK sales specifically for the Advanced Packaging group , which has been operating in South Wales for over 20 years. This group delivers a competitive advantage for its customers by miniaturising electronic components to create smaller, smarter and more reliable circuit solutions with a board footprint significantly smaller than individual ICs. With a track record of success in designing and developing Advanced Packaging modules, Zarlink’s micro-packing expertise is at the heart of mission-critical and cutting-edge medical, telecom, industrial, aerospace and military applications.
